Dariusz GRZESIAK received his PhD degree in 2014 from the West Pomeranian University of Technology Szczecin (Composites Mechanics). He is currently working in a position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, where he also is head of Laboratory of Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing. His research focuses on Additive Manufacturing, especially Selective Laser Melting technology. Recently, he is working on additively obtained metal matrix composites and high entropy alloys.

Juan Rodríguez Hernández is Tenured Scientist at the Chemisty and Properties of Polymeric Materials department (Institute of Polymer Science and Technology-ICTP-CSIC) since 2008. He carried out his PhD thesis at the Max-Planck Institute for Polymer research in Mainz-Germany (2003) and worked as tenured scientist at the CNRS-France between 2003 and 2008. His main interests are related with the polymer synthesis, design and fabrication of hierarchically patterned polymeric surfaces with controlled functionality. Such structures have already applied for the preparation of surfaces with controlled wettability or in bio- and nanotechnological applications such as protein recognition, the selective immobilization of bacteria or biocatalysis.

Christian Krettek, FRACS, FRCSEd came in 1982 after studying and after two years of studies at the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Munich at the Hannover Medical School , and even went through the classic wide surgical training in the clinics of the professors Tscherne, Pichlmayr and bristle. "Elham Mirkoohi's career in mechanical engineering began in 2011 with her bachelor’s coursework and research in advance manufacturing technologies at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tehran. Xia Ji is currently an associate professor at the school of mechanical engineering, Donghua University in Shanghai, China. She received her PhD in mechanical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2014. Dr. Ji’s research focuses on analytical modeling of machining and metal additive manufacturing, especially the relationship among process parameters, material microstructure and mechanical properties. She has published over thirty peer-reviewed papers in leading refereed journals and conferences, including the Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Journal of Computational and Theoretical Nanoscience, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Dra. Jasmina Casals-Terré. Received the M.S. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, in 2002 and in 2007 a Ph.D. in design, fabrication, and testing of bistable MEMS switches. She joined the Faculty of UPC-BarcelonaTech in 2007 and became Associate Professor in 2009 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
