The aim of the work is to study the physical processes in the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with in homogeneous materials, finding out the possibility of increasing the screening efficiency in the ultrahigh frequency range. The scientific idea (hypotheses a) of the project is to build a consistent physical and mathematical model of propagation of non-strictly monochromatic electromagnetic radiation in inhomogeneous (angular, layered, ultrafine, rough) structures for conductors of the first and second kind taking into account the broadening of spectral lines using the generalized wave equation, theorem Dirichlet on the mean and the conditions of continuity of the total current at the interfaces of adjacent media, without using explicitly induced surface charge and surface current that will allow to use for the calculation of the through account scheme.

Professor Ramesh K. Agarwal is the William Palm Professor of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. From 1994 to 2001, he was the Sam Bloomfield Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University in Kansas. From 1978 to 1994, he worked in various scientific and managerial positions at McDonnell Douglas Research Laboratories in St. Louis. He became the Program Director and McDonnell Douglas Fellow in 1990. Dr. Agarwal received Ph.D in Aeronautical Sciences from Stanford University in 1975, M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 1968. Over a period of 45 years, Professor Agarwal has worked in various areas of Computational Science and Engineering - Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Acoustics & Electromagnetics, Computational Materials Science and Manufacturing, and Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization. He is the author and coauthor of over 600 publications. He has given plenary/keynote talks in over 60 countries all over the world.
