Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Shahrul Nizam Bin Isha,is a member of Centre for Advance Process Safety, Institute of Contaminant Management (ICM),Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He obtained his Doctoral Degree from the University of Nottingham UK with a specialization in Occupational Health Psychology. His area of expertise is in behavioral based safety, safety culture and health psychology. Dr. Nizam built a strong research track record and has disseminated his research extensively in authored or co-authored academic articles published in refereed journals, in local and international conferences. With an established research and publication track record, Dr.Nizams have been successful in securing research funding from funding bodies such as the Petroleum Research Funds (PRF), UTP Foundations, International Matching Grants, Industry Research Grants, and consultancy projectsin the area ofhis expertise. He is also a member of various committees and working groups working on improving standards and guidelines in occupational health and safety appointed by Department of Occupational Health Malaysia (DOSH) and Department of Standard Malaysia (DSM).
