Melania Susi received her B.E. in Mathematical Engineering from the University or Vergata di Roma, Italy, and M.Sc. in Communication Engineering and in Geomatic Engineering, respectively, from the Universita di L'Aquila, Italy, and from the University of Calgary, Canada. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham where she was a Marie Curie fellow working on the design of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) receiver algorithms robust under ionospheric scintillation. She also worked as GNSS specialist in Topcon Tierra, Italy. Currently she is a technical officer in theGalileo group of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy. Melanias main focus is on GNSS receiver algorithm design for high accuracy applications, GNSS signal processing and sensor fusion.
