Aerospace Engineer, Yves Gourinat was 7 years engineer on aircraft composite structures(Airbus A340, ATR72)in Toulouse, then 10 years associate professor in the field of launch vehicle Dynamics and manned space flight at ENSICA, a national Aerospace Engineering French Institute. In 2003, he founded the team of shell dynamics and shell-fluid interactions at SUPAERO. Full Professor, he was the Director of the Aeronautical-Astronautical Doctoral School (ED467-AA, 2012-2016) and Deputy director of Clement Ader Institute (UMR CNRS 5312 ICA). Pr Gourinat is now in charge of the Structural &Bio Dynamics team of the University of Toulouse, and teaches flights loads, thermodynamics of structures and biophysics at M2 level. ENSMA Engineering with Space Specialization at SUPAERO, Doctor in Mechanics and Qualified Professor of the Universities, he has been elected Corresponding Member of the Air & Space Academy and awarded 2011 world laureate of the Frank J Malina Astronautics Medal (International Astronautical Federation). Pr Gourinatis author or co-author of 144 International Referenced Scientific Contributions, and has directed or co-directed 25 PhD students.
