Shigeo Akashi is a full Professor at Tokyo University of Science and has been honored by being given the title of Distinguished Cisco Certified Active Instructor authorized by Cisco Networking Academy. He was also a visiting researcher at Rome II University in 1994 and an associate professor at Southern Illinois University in 2000. As for the educational activities, he has been a member of Experts Committee Leading Scientific Education for Japanese Senior High Schools authorized by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology belonging to Japanese Government since 2016. As for the research activities, he was nominated as an invited speaker in Asian Mathematical Conference 2013, He is also a fellow of Asia Pacific Society for Computing and Information Technology.
