Robert (Bob) Farrauto spent 37 years in the R&D department of BASF (formerly Engelhard Corporation) in Iselin, NJ. In 2007 he was promoted to Vice President, Research and Development at their R&D Center in Iselin, New Jersey. His major responsibilities have included the development of advanced automobile emission control catalysts and catalysts for the chemical and alternative energy industries. He is the 2008 recipient of the Ciapetta Lectureship Award sponsored by the North American Catalysis Society and the 2005 Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Practice Award sponsored by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is 2016 recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award sponsored by the Alumni Association.

Hitendra K. Malik received his Master degree in Physics from Institute of Advanced Studies, Meerut in 1990 and then Ph.D. degree in Plasma Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in 1995. He has been a merit scholarship holder throughout his academic career.
He has been awarded a prestigious JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship twice and worked in Japan as JSPS Fellow in 1996 and 2000. Prof. Om Prakash Yadav did Ph.D in Chemistry in 1973 from Panjab University, Chandigarh (India). From 1975 to 2003, he worked as Professor of Chemistry at CCS Haryana Agricultural University in India and then at Haramaya University, Ethiopia, during 2008-2014. Professor Yadav was awarded Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Fellowship in 1996-97. In 2000, he worked as Visiting Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, Goteberg (Sweden). There, he worked on the development of an efficient photo-catalytic converter for the removal of pollutant gases in the exhaust system of internal combustion engines. His this research work, published in the International Journal- Colloids and Surfaces, has largely been cited. Prof. Yadav has guided a number of Ph.Ds, published about 100 research papers and has presented his research work at a number of International Conferences.
