Laura Eling after graduating at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany, in 2017 I decided to dedicate the four following years to the field of brain cancer research. During my PhD, I worked on the optimization of a new radiotherapy modality for the treatment of glioblastoma, known as Microbeam Radiation Therapy (MRT). This exciting and innovative method yields the opportunity to drastically improve the therapeutic ratio for brain cancer patients. My veterinarian expertise is of high value in the ongoing pet animal trials and will further help to promote MRT towards the prospective clinical trials.
