Dr. Kulbir K. Ghuman joined INRS as an Assistant Professor in 2019. Before joining INRS, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Kyushu University (Japan), Paul Scherrer Institute (Switzerland), and University of Toronto (Canada). She obtained her PhD in Computational Condensed Matter Physics from Panjab University, India. Her research mainly focusses on understanding the properties of advanced materials, and chemical processes and optimizing them for energy and environmental needs via modern computational techniques. She has published more than 20 high-impact papers in this area, surpassing 457 citations, leading to an h-index of 13.
