Elie M. Ferneini,is practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Waterbury CT. He is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University (B.S., 1995, Magna Cum Laude), Quinnipiac University (M.H.S., 1998), University of Connecticut dental and medical schools (D.M.D., 2002, M.D., 2005).He completed his oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Connecticut. Additionally, Dr. Ferneini completed 2 years of general surgery training at the same institution. Dr. Ferneini is a clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut. He is involved in undergraduate as well as graduate dental training. Dr. Ferneini has a long history of conducting research resulting in a number of publications. His findings have been presented locally and throughout the United States. Dr. S. Thikkurissy is professor and director of the Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He obtained his DDS from New York University and his certificate in pediatric dentistry as well as a master’s degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Nationwide Children's Hospital. He also completed the program in advanced education in general dentistry at Wright Patterson and was in active duty in the U.S. Air Force for eight years as chief of pediatric dentistry at Ramstein AFB in Germany. He was director of the predoctoral program in pediatric dentistry at The Ohio State University from 2006-2011 and director of Inpatient Dental Services at Nationwide Children's Hospital from 2010-2013. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has published in the area of morbidities, quality of life, and pain management in children.
Dr.Edith Groenendijk graduated from the School of Dentistry at the Catholic University of Nijmegen in 1989. From that moment she has worked as a general restorative dentist in several offices and from 1992 in her own office. At that time she focused specifically on periodontal treatments and complete dental rehabilitations. Because she was unable to adequately serve her patients using the available prosthetic dentistry she began a post-graduate course in Oral Implantology at the Academic Centre for Dentistry in Amsterdam (ACTA) in 1998. In 2000 she obtained a Master of Science degree in Oral Implantology. At that moment she opened a referral clinic in Oral Implantology in The Hague.She has a Master of Science Degree in Oral Implantology and is since 2001 Chef de Clinique in her referral clinic in The Hague, The Netherlands. She has special interest in tooth replacement in the esthetic region. Together with collegue Tristan Staas she developed a protocol for immediate tooth replacement in the esthetic region and is working conform this protocol since 2007. In cooperation with Prof. Dr. Gerry Raghoebar, Prof. Dr. Gert Meijer and Tristan Staas, Edith Groenendijk will start a prospective multicenter study in 2014.

In the year 1984 - 1985, worked at the private clinic. 1986 - 1991, PhD student at The London Hospital Medical College Dental School. 1991 - 1992 worked as a research assistant for supervising PHD student and responsible for research laboratory at The London Hospital Medical College Dental School.October 1992-2003, worked as a lecturer at the Marmara University Dental School Department of Prosthodontics. 2001 – 2003, elected as a head of department at the Marmara University Dental School Department of Prosthodontics. October 1996-2003, worked as a part time lecturer at the Yeditepe University Dental School Department of Prosthodontics.April 2003 -2015 Pointed as a vice dean at the Yeditepe University Dental School. 9-) Pointed as a head of department of Prosthodontics at the Yeditepe University Dental School since 2010. Presently he is working as a Dean of the University of Yeditepe Dental School since January 2018.
Hughes is a graduate of Colby College and The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital at Case Western Reserve University. He was a Clinical Staff Fellow and an NRSA Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 1985-1990 and received a PhD from Georgetown University in 1991. Since that time he has been a practicing clinician, research scientist and teacher. He serves on the Editorial Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He was a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, Professor and Chair of Pediatric Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
Sajeesh Kumar, PhD., is Executive Director- Institute for Health Outcomes and Policy, Chair-Health Outcomes and Policy Research PhD program and Associate Professor, Department of Health Informatics & Information Management, University of Tennessee-Memphis. Dr. Kumar’s research focuses on design and development oftelehealth /teledentistry technology, public health education technologies and technology evaluation.
Dr. Kumar edited the first ever text book on Teledentistry( Springer). He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor, at College of Dentistry, UTHSC- Memphis. He is a committee member for MDH student admissions. Dr. Kumarteach “Introduction to Research”and also directs capstone projects of MDH students. His research work has been published extensively in Journal of Dental Research, The Journal of Evidence-Based Dental Practice, Dimensions of Dental Hygiene andJournal of Dental Hygiene.

Dr Aziza Eldarrat is an Associate Professor, Head of Restorative Dentistry and Director of Endodontic Diploma Programme, Maktoum Bin Hamdan Dental University College, Dubai. Dr Eldarrat holds a PhD degree from Leeds University, UK and she is the winner of several awards, one of her top awards was the Peter Wilson Prize and Gold Medal award of Excellence in Research from Leeds University, UK. Her clinical experience extends over 25 years and her academic experience over 15 years. She has been actively involved in many research fields, such as obturation materials; diabetes mellitus; ac-impedance spectroscopy and ultrasound techniques. Dr Eldarrat is a co-supervisor of a PhD degree, for which the dissertation was nominated for the best thesis award in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr Eldarrat has written a book chapter, published many papers in international dental journals and presented many research papers in international and national dental conferences. She is a member of many scientific dental societies and a reviewer for several dental journals.
Hasan Alkumru was the Vice Dean and Head of Prosthodontics at Marmara University in Istanbul-Turkey prior to coming to Canada. Dr. Alkumru was the Head of Department of Prosthodontics and Director of Graduate Prosthodontics Program and Director of Implant Prosthodontics Unit at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in between 2011- 2014. Dr. Alkumru helped to develop a clinical program in the Department of Dentistry in Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto in 2010-11 to include advanced oral rehabilitation cases. He was transferred to University of Western Ontario and moved to London ON in September 2014. He is also giving Continuing Education Lectures throughout Ontario approved by Royal College of Dentists of Canada.Dr. Alkumru is a registered Specialist in Prosthodontics in Canada and fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

He received his MSc and Ph.D. in the Department of Analytical Chemistry (Excellent) at Istanbul, Turkey. He did his DPG in the Department of Environmental Management at MSM, Netherlands. He is a specialist in analytical and industrial chemistry.Dr. Loai Aljerf obtained many awards and published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers (two of them in French) in Environmental Sciences, Green Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Synthesis Chemistry, Concrete, Ceramics, Paper Industry, Petrochemical, Extraction, Separation, Lithium-Ion-Batteries, and Oral Chemistry. He is a partner in Advances in Cleaner Production Network, and a member of the German Chemical Society e.V. (GDCh) and the American University of Beirut. Soher Nagi Mohammed Jayash completed a MClinDent in 2012 and a PhD in 2017. Her PhD was in the Schools of Dentistry and was focused on development of novel osteoprotegerin-chitosan gels for bone tissue regeneration and their characterisation using cellular biology, molecular, biochemical, histological and high-resolution peripheral quantitative CT imaging methodologies. She also had conducted animal, and human based studies. She published articles in international ISI journals.She obtained her PhD in bone regeneration from faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2017. Her PhD was focussed on the in vitro and in vivo evaluations of newly formulated osteoprotegerin-chitosan gel in bone regeneration by using advanced techniques available at University of Malaya.She worked on development of tissue engineering gels and potential transfer stem cells and protein for bone regeneration.
