Professor. Charles Chun Yang, Division of Thermal Fluids Engineering, School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Nanyang Technological University. He obtained my B.S. degree from the Department of Thermal Engineering of Tsinghua University (Beijing). Then he headed his postgraduate studies in University of Science and Technology of China (Hefei) and received my M.S. degree in Thermophysics under the supervision of Professor Xinshi Ge. Before I pursued my Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Alberta (Edmonton), he had worked in Shanghai Institute of Electric Power for six years. During my five-year Ph.D. program supervised by Dr. Dongqing Li (now with University of Waterloo) and Dr. Jacob H. Masliyah, he also had been with Syncrude Canada Ltd. - Edmonton Research Centre under the NSERC-Oil Sands Industry Chair Program for three years. In 1999, he joined the Nanyang Technological University as an Assistant Professor.
