Zaki is Consultant Urologist who joined Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in March 2017 from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA.
Dr. Zaki was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK and attained his doctorship (MD) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK then moved to Birmingham, England, UK for higher surgical specialist training in Urology. In 2003, Dr Zaki, was appointed Consultant Urologist at the University Hospital of Birmingham, UK.
In 2006, he founded the Birmingham Bladder Clinic as one of the first specialised comprehensive clinics to treat a wide range of bladder, prostate and voiding dysfunction. Dr. Zaki, helped patients from all across the UK with his unique holistic and patient-centred approach. Patients travelled from further afield, like Germany and Ireland to seek his advice and expertise.
Dr. Zaki Almallah is one of the internationally renowned experts in the treatment of patients with urinary problems following prostate cancer treatment. He has published widely with a long list of scientific studies and book chapters attached to his name. Dr. Zaki has one of the largest experiences in the management of post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence. He has lectured regularly in international conferences including the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the American Urological Annual Scientific conferences.
Dr. Zaki Almallah’s passion in helping patients was recognised by his regular appearances on national television including the British Channel 4 prime time popular programme, “Live from the Clinic” where he performed surgery and the US channel CBS and other media outlets.
Sang-Mo Kang, M.D. takes care of both adult and pediatric patients and performs kidney, liver, pancreas and intestinal transplants as well as surgery for numerous hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases. He is Surgical Director of Liver Transplantation at UCSF-Benioff Children's Hospital.
Dr. Kang received his B.S. in chemistry from Cornell University and his M.D. from Harvard University Medical School. He completed a general surgery residency, and immunology and clinical transplantation fellowships at University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Kang's current research focus is in the development of novel strategies for the induction of transplant-specific tolerance. Dr. Kang has published numerous articles in medical and scientific journals and been invited to present at national and international seminars and conferences.
Dr. Kang is a member of numerous medical societies including American Society of Transplant Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Association of Immunologists, National Kidney Foundation, Association for Academic Surgery, and Society of University Surgeons
Bertram Pitt received his MD degree from the University of Basel in 1959. After a residency in medicine he worked at the Walter Reed Army Medical research Institute from 1963-1966. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and remained there on the faculty until 1977 when he joined the University Of Michigan School Of Medicine as director of the division of cardiology. He is currently professor of medicine emeritus, has published over 750 peer reviewed papers, and received life time achievement awards from the AHA and ESC-HF society.
Mohamed Salah El-Badry is an Assistant professor in Urology in Minia University and the Armed force college of medicine . He is the head of the profit sector in Minia University Hospital. He is also a member in many medical associationssuch as the Egyptian Urological Association, the European Association of Urology, the International continence society, and American Association of Endourology. Mohamed Salah El-Badry is the Secretary General of voiding dysfunction section in the Egyptian Urological Association.
Alinda Chiu is an Australian based consultant nephrologist and physician working in the private sector at Peninsula Private Hospital (Frankston), Beleura Private Hospital and The Bays Hospital (both in Mornington) and the public sector at Frankston Public Hospital. Alinda studied and trained in the UK becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians UK in 2000 and becoming a Fellow of Royal Australian College of Physicians 2010. Alinda, together with her dedicated nurses and staff, engages in charitable works by running World Kidney Event Days in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The aim of these events is to raise awareness of kidney health to the public. Information gathered during these events is used for research into the prevention or delay onset of Chronic Kidney Disease. In addition to these events Alinda organised an international standard educational seminar for nurses on 1st March 2017 at Peninsula Private Hospital. Other charitable activities include the sponsorship of children in Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
He graduated in Medicine at the University of Bari, Italy in 2009. In 2015 he completed his
fellowship in Nephrology at the Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplant Unit at the Universital
Hospital Policlinico, Bari, Italy: during the fellowship, he won a National Grant of the Italian
Society of Nephrology, with whom he worked at the C.N.R., Institute of Clinical Physiology,
Reggio Calabria, Italy for the project “Systematic review of indications and outcomes of renal
biopsy”. Since 2015, he started a PhD program in “Tissue and Organ transplantations and
cellular therapies” of the University of Bari; during this period, he worked at the Center for
Critical Care Nephrology, Department of Critical Care Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, PA,
USA (mentor: prof. J.A.Kellum). His main fields of research are: acute kidney injury (AKI) in
patients with septic shock and use of novel biomarkers for AKI and progression to chronic
kidney disease (CKD). He authored several articles (H-index 4) on peer reviewed
international nephrology and medical journals and he recently contributed to the 3rd edition
of the “Critical Care Nephrology” book. He also serves as reviewer for Nephrology, Dialysis
and Transplantation (NDT) journal

A native of Bari, Italy, Dr. Campese graduated medical school summa cum laude before coming to the Keck School of Medicine on a fellowship in 1974. Since his time at USC, Dr. Campese has established himself as one on the most prominent nephrologists in the field and currently heads Keck’s division of Nephrology.
In addition to his numerous academic and administrative appointments, Dr. Campese is a former president of the Italian-American Society of Nephrologists and is currently a member of the Program Committee on the Council on High Blood Pressure Research for the American Heart Association.

Bing-Huei Chen, male, food scientist, received his Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Technology, Texas A & M University, USA in 1988. His postgraduate career include working at Fu Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan as Associate Professor from 1988–1994, Professor from 1994–2000, Distinguished Chair Professor from 2004–present, Chair of Department of Nutrition and Food Science from 1994-2000, Director of Graduate Institute of Medicine from 2006–2009, and Dean of College of Human Ecology from 2012–2015. Dr. Isharwal provides care for patients with cancers of genital and urinary tract. His clinical and research focus include bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and testis cancer. He performs advanced minimally invasive surgeries including robotic assisted laparoscopic surgeries as well as open surgeries. He performs nerve-sparing procedures for prostatectomy, cystectomy, and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. For patients undergoing cystectomy, he performs all forms of urinary diversion/reconstruction. His research focuses on improving the clinical outcomes of patients with urological cancers.
Dr. Isharwal completed his urology oncology fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic. Concurrently with his fellowship, Dr. Isharwal was part of a Clinical Research Scholars Program at Case Western Reserve University. He attended medical school at Pt. B. D. Sharma PGIMS. After medical school, he spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh with a research focus on the prostate cancer development and progression. Subsequently, he completed a Urology residency at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Isharwal holds membership of several professional organizations including American Urological Association and Society of Urology Oncology. Also, Dr. Isharwal reviews research articles for multiple journals including Journal of Urology, BMC cancer, and Cancer cell international. He has authored several research papers and has presented his work at multiple national meetings.
