Claire Deeb is a research scientist at C2N where she conducts research in the field of optics, active plasmonics, and nanophotonics. She completed her PhD from UTT, France and has acquired an international experience through working at Argonne National Laboratory, USA and Northwestern University, USA. She is specialized in advancing plasmon nanolaser sources, investigating energy transfer processes at the nanoscale, and exploring the characteristics of single nano-objects. She has also developed expertise in nanofabrication, nano-characterization, optical spectroscopy, and near-field imaging. Claire has initiated and maintained collaborations with several leading groups at UC-Berkeley and LMU-Munich and has led many international projects. She has given 9 invited talks and has published over 13 influential papers and one book chapter. Additionally, she has received 2 PhD awards and has been serving the scientific community as an editor of PNN
