Dr. Pramod KUMAR (M.Phil and Ph.D.Laser Physics), is working as a Disordered Photonics Research Fellow, Department of Physics and Astronomy, College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, University of Exeter, England, United Kingdom. He has received his M.Sc (Physics) Degree from C.C.S University, Meerut, India and M. Phil. (Instrumentation Physics) degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Roorkee, India in 2000. He has completed his Ph.D. (Laser Physics) degree from School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), New Delhi, India in 2009. He has been worked as Assistant Professor in Delhi University, India in 2010 after that he moved to Paris, France and joined Laboratoire Commun de Metrologie ,La Plaine Saint Denis (France) as a Post Doctoral Fellow from 2010-2011. He has worked as Post-doctoral Research Associate (201-2014) in Femtosecond Laser Laboratory, IISER Mohali, Punjab, India. He has been with the University College Cork and Tyndall National Institute since Jan 2015 to March 2017, where he was the senior Laser research staff. His Research interest is in the field of ultrafast Laser and nonlinear Photonics with covers various fundamental and applicative aspects, in particular the understanding, manipulation and control of ultrashort pulse. Currently Dr. Kumar is dealing with the problem of Prime Factorization problem with the light.
