Alexandre N.Lykov received a Doctor of Sciences from Moscow State University. (Doctor of Sciences is the second and highest degree in Russia required for full Professorship). He is the Head of Superconducting Microelectronic Group in the staff of Superconductivity Laboratory (Head of Lab. Dr. Mitsen) since 1975. Received Ph.D. (Candidate of Physical-Mathematical Sciences) from P.N.Lebedev Physical Institute RAS in 1980. Graduated from the Physics Department of Moscow State University (1966-1972). Specialized in Experimental Physics with special emphasis on Low-Temperature Physics. He was in the research staff of P.N.Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 1972. His main research field is Experimental and theoretical studies of physical processes in superconductors and superconducting devices. Application of superconductivity to real devices. Current research interest is on the Numerical Solution of the Ginzburg-Landau-Gor’kov equations.
